Identity verification and KYC on pokerace
When you create a pokerace account, we ask for your email address and a password. You receive a verification link in your inbox; click it to activate your account. At this stage, you can browse our game categories and market listings, but you cannot deposit or place bets until you complete identity verification.
The next step is Know Your Customer (KYC) verification. We ask for your full legal name, date of birth, national ID number, and a copy of your ID card or passport. If you are verifying from Jakarta, Surabaya, Bandung, Medan, Semarang, or Yogyakarta, the process is the same—we accept Indonesian national IDs, driving licenses, and passports. Upload a clear photo of the front and back of your ID, and our verification team reviews it within a few hours.
Verification is not a one-time gate—we may ask for additional documents if your account activity flags our risk systems, or if you request a large withdrawal.
Payment method verification and cross-checking
Once your ID is approved, you link a payment method—DANA, e-wallet, mobile banking, local payment, online payment, e-wallet, or a bank virtual account. We ask you to confirm the name on your payment method matches your verified identity. This cross-check prevents account takeover and ensures your withdrawals reach the correct account holder.
If you use mobile banking, local payment, online payment, or e-wallet, we redirect you to the e-wallet app to authorize the connection. You confirm the amount, and the deposit appears in your pokerace balance within seconds. If you use mobile banking or local payment, the flow is similar—scan the QR code or enter the merchant ID, and the transfer completes instantly. For bank transfers, we generate a unique virtual-account number tied to your pokerace account. You transfer funds from your online payment, e-wallet, mobile banking, or local payment account to this virtual account, and our system credits your pokerace balance within minutes.
Two-factor authentication setup
We recommend enabling two-factor authentication (2FA) on your pokerace account. Once activated, every login requires a one-time code sent to your registered email or phone number. This extra layer protects your account even if someone obtains your password.
You can enable 2FA in your account settings under "Security." Choose whether to receive codes via email or SMS, then confirm your preference. The next time you log in, you will be prompted to enter the code before accessing your account.
Password management and account recovery
Your pokerace password should be unique and strong—at least 8 characters, mixing uppercase, lowercase, numbers, and symbols. Never reuse passwords from other accounts or services. If you forget your password, click "Forgot Password" on the login page. We send a reset link to your registered email. Click the link, enter a new password, and your account is unlocked.
We never ask for your password via email, chat, or phone. If you receive a message claiming to be from pokerace asking for your password, it is a phishing attempt. Delete it and report it to our support team. Our staff will never request your password or 2FA codes under any circumstances.
Account security on pokerace depends on your vigilance—never share your password, never click suspicious links, and always verify you are on the correct pokerace domain before logging in.
Withdrawal PIN and additional security layers
We allow you to set a withdrawal PIN—a four-digit code you enter before confirming any withdrawal request. This prevents unauthorized cashouts if your account is compromised. Your PIN is stored separately from your password and is never transmitted in plain text. You can set or change your withdrawal PIN in your account settings under "Security."
If you suspect your account has been compromised, change your password immediately and enable 2FA if you have not already. Contact our support team to review your recent activity and lock your account if needed. We can also reverse unauthorized withdrawals if we detect them within a short window.
Withdrawal review and settlement verification
When you request a withdrawal on pokerace, our compliance team reviews it before settlement. We check that your account activity is consistent with our terms, and that the withdrawal amount does not exceed your daily or monthly limit. We also verify that the destination payment method matches your verified identity. Most withdrawals are approved within a few hours.
Once approved, the funds transfer to your payment method according to that method's standard processing time. E-wallets like online payment and e-wallet typically settle within minutes. Bank transfers may take one to two business days. If your withdrawal is declined, we notify you by email with the reason. You can contact our support team to clarify the issue and resubmit your request.
Data retention and privacy on pokerace
We store your verified identity documents (ID copy, proof of address, payment method details) in an encrypted database separate from your betting history. We retain these documents for as long as your account is active, plus a retention period required by Indonesian financial regulations. If you close your pokerace account, we delete your personal data according to our privacy policy, except where law requires us to keep records for anti-money-laundering compliance. Your betting activity—bets placed, games played, withdrawals made—is logged separately and is not shared with third parties without your consent, except where required by law or court order.
