pokerace verification process and account tiers
When you create a pokerace account, we ask for your email address and a password. You'll receive a verification link in your inbox; click it to activate your account. At this stage, you can browse our game categories and market listings, but you cannot deposit or place bets until you complete identity verification.
The next step is Know Your Customer (KYC) verification. We ask for your full legal name, date of birth, national ID number, and a copy of your ID card or passport. If you're verifying from Jakarta, Surabaya, Bandung, Medan, Semarang, or Yogyakarta, the process is the same — we accept Indonesian national IDs, driving licenses, and passports. Upload a clear photo of the front and back of your ID, and our verification team reviews it within a few hours.
Once your ID is approved, you unlock the deposit stage. Here, you link a payment method — DANA, e-wallet, mobile banking, local payment, online payment, e-wallet, or a bank virtual account. We ask you to confirm the name on your payment method matches your verified identity. This cross-check prevents account takeover and money-laundering risk. After you link your first payment method, you can make your first deposit.
pokerace operates three account tiers based on verification depth:
- Tier 1 (Email verified): Browse markets and games; no deposit or withdrawal.
- Tier 2 (ID verified): Deposit and withdraw up to a standard daily limit; access all game categories and live-dealer tables.
- Tier 3 (Full KYC + payment method verified): Higher daily and monthly withdrawal limits; priority support; access to VIP tournaments and special events.
Verification is not a one-time gate — we may ask for additional documents if your account activity flags our risk systems, or if you request a large withdrawal.
Payment method linking and deposit flow
After your ID is verified, you choose a payment method. If you use mobile banking, local payment, online payment, or e-wallet, we redirect you to the e-wallet app to authorize the connection. You confirm the amount, and the deposit appears in your pokerace balance within seconds. If you use mobile banking or local payment, the flow is similar — scan the QR code or enter the merchant ID, and the transfer completes instantly.
For bank transfers, we generate a unique virtual-account number tied to your pokerace account. You transfer funds from your online payment, e-wallet, mobile banking, or local payment account to this virtual account, and our system credits your pokerace balance within minutes. The virtual account stays active as long as your pokerace account is open, so you can use it for repeat deposits without re-entering details.
account preferences and holds
Your daily account preferences depends on your account tier and payment method. Tier 2 accounts can deposit up to a standard amount per day; Tier 3 accounts have higher limits. We do not impose a hold on deposits — your balance updates immediately, and you can place bets or play games right away.
If you deposit during Idul Fitri, Idul Adha, Imlek, or Nyepi, processing may take slightly longer due to bank holidays, but we process all deposits as soon as the banking system clears them.
Withdrawal verification and settlement
When you request a withdrawal on pokerace, we verify that the destination payment method matches your verified identity. If you linked online payment, we send the funds back to your e-wallet account. If you used a mobile banking virtual account for deposits, we return your withdrawal to your registered local payment account. This matching step prevents fraud and ensures you receive your funds.
Withdrawal requests are reviewed by our compliance team before settlement. We check that your account activity is consistent with our terms, and that the withdrawal amount does not exceed your daily or monthly limit. Most withdrawals are approved within a few hours. Once approved, the funds transfer to your payment method according to that method's standard processing time — e-wallets like online payment and e-wallet typically settle within minutes, while bank transfers may take one to two business days.
We do not guarantee subject to verification or processing within a fixed number of minutes. All withdrawals are subject to verification windows and banking system delays.
If your withdrawal is declined, we notify you by email with the reason — for example, if your account activity appears inconsistent, or if you have not met a minimum play-through requirement. You can contact our support team to clarify the issue and resubmit your request.
Two-factor authentication and account security
We recommend enabling two-factor authentication (2FA) on your pokerace account. Once activated, every login requires a one-time code sent to your registered email or phone number. This extra layer protects your account even if someone obtains your password. You can enable 2FA in your account settings under "Security."
We also allow you to set a withdrawal PIN — a four-digit code you enter before confirming any withdrawal request. This prevents unauthorized cashouts if your account is compromised. Your PIN is stored separately from your password and is never transmitted in plain text.
Document retention and data privacy
We store your verified identity documents (ID copy, proof of address, payment method details) in an encrypted database separate from your betting history. We retain these documents for as long as your account is active, plus a retention period required by Indonesian financial regulations. If you close your pokerace account, we delete your personal data according to our privacy policy, except where law requires us to keep records for anti-money-laundering compliance.
Your betting activity — bets placed, games played, withdrawals made — is logged separately and is not shared with third parties without your consent, except where required by law or court order. We use your data only to operate your account, prevent fraud, and comply with regulatory obligations.
